These terms govern use of Viesti, a transactional email relay operated at viesti.email. Creating a workspace or submitting mail means you accept them.
The service
Viesti relays transactional email — receipts, password resets, account and order notifications — over SMTP and HTTP API from domains you verify. It is not a marketing, newsletter, or bulk-mail product.
Acceptable use
You may only send mail your recipients asked for, from domains you control. You must not send:
- Unsolicited or bulk marketing email, or purchased, scraped, or rented lists
- Phishing, malware, fraud, or deceptive content
- Content that is unlawful in the sender's or recipient's jurisdiction
- Mail with forged headers or a misleading sender identity
Every message is risk-scored before release and a sample is screened by an automated content classifier. Flagged mail is quarantined for staff review; violating mail is rejected. Screening verdicts affect your workspace's reputation and may suspend it.
Plans and billing
The free plan includes 75 emails per UTC day and 2,000 per UTC calendar month. The paid plan is $5 per month for 50,000 emails per billing cycle, then $0.10 per 1,000 additional emails, prorated at $0.0001 per email. An email is one accepted message, up to 50 recipients; rejected mail is not counted. Accepted email counts whether or not it is delivered.
Paid billing is handled by Polar. You can cancel any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid cycle. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Delivery
Delivery is best-effort, not guaranteed. Free and paid mail leave from separate IP pools with per-destination throttling and warmup caps. Bounces and provider complaints are applied automatically: complaining recipients are suppressed and repeated abuse lowers workspace reputation.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you send, for a lawful basis to email each recipient, for honoring opt-outs, and for keeping your credentials and DNS records correct. You must comply with applicable email and privacy law, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR where they apply.
Suspension and termination
Workspaces that violate these terms or endanger pool reputation may be suspended, placed under review, or terminated. You may stop using Viesti at any time; data is then handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability or delivery. To the extent permitted by law, Viesti is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
